Hamilton Lifestyle Photographer - Lindsay Palmer's Blog
Welcome to the blog!
Looking forward to getting to know you... To get you started here's the quick version of me...
There's my wonderful, should have been a chef, comedian of a husband Steve, my sweet boy, Jack and the angel baby Olivia;
I've got an addiction to premium denim;
Vanilla anything, especially a latte;
I'm endlessly late and an eternal optimist, so there's hope for the former;
Despise being cold: I leave the heat set to 25, permanently;
Great music is a staple of my daily life;
Somehow all of this randomness has turned me into a person who is close to obsessed with capturing interaction and love with my camera.
Now grab a coffee, and have a look around.
You can use the Categories Tab above to view the type of sessions you're interested in.

With only a few days left until their wedding, Tyler and Kara deserved to make an appearance on the blog before then.
We met at Tiffany Falls in Hamilton and they laughed and loved their way through this session. They needed almost no guidance at all — Just enjoyed each other. Seriously, these two are totally adorable. I can not wait for their wedding day Saturday.
When I first met this beautiful woman, it was at a dinner party last summer, she is a mother to two sweet boys, both nice and close in age, just like my two. The two of us sat and chatted for what felt like hours. One of those kind, sweet, funny souls that I immediately connected with. We’re going to be good friends. I just know it — She will soon too. When she told me she was pregnant for the third time, it was last fall while we were trying to set up a another dinner date. Not feeling quite herself, we postponed it. That brings us to the Spring time. Jennifer’s two boys had both been born early, like a month before now. So she’s been ready to go at any moment for quite a while now. We set out to capture her maternity images, as she had never had them done before. It’s a bit of a sin that a woman who looks this amazing at 9 months pregnant has never had them done before.
Enjoy these beautiful images Jennifer — I can’t wait to meet the newest addition.
As you may know, I’m always keen to hit a party, especially one with a Pony. I shot a Birthday Party this past weekend and it was cuteness overload.
Have a look at this adorably themed Cowboy and Cowgirl party that Megan and Jeff threw for their little ones who both have Birthdays in April. Everything from a General Store to purchase treats with their game winnings; to Poker for the big Cowboys; custom Bandanas for all the kiddos; and of course a Pony.
I had a blast shooting this party, and watching Lucas and Chloe celebrate their 4th and 1st Birthdays with their family and friends. The momma Megan deserves a lot for putting together such an amazingly themed party. I, being someone who loves a theme to most things, was in awe of her talent and attention to detail.
Have a look at at a few of the images:
Lucas and I went outside for a few shots — Eventually I suggested we head back into the party. He replied: “But we have a party right here, you and me and balloons”. Melt my heart.
So proud of his Sheriff Badge — Showing it off.
Chloe woke up and joined the party)
And then the Pony arrived!
I took one of these for the road and let me tell you – I could have had a few more Happy Birthdays Lucas and Chloe!
I was going through these images to get my blog post up and I couldn’t help but smile the whole time. There were so many shots that are indicative of the goals of a Lifestyle Session. Enjoy your family. Michelle is so good at scheduling their photo sessions. I get to see these sweet faces every six months or so and I couldn’t be more honoured to capture these amazing people as they grow. You’ll remember Presley from HERE, HEREHERE and HERE, and Lucas from HERE and HERE.
Here are a few of their images. Presley took a while to warm up for this shoot — But she certainly came around
I hope everyone is enjoying this amazing long weekend weather we’ve had. Around here we have had three days of Easter celebrations, it’s a bit excessive, but hey, who cares, it’s so fun. If I could come up with some way to light up those four little eyes the way they have been the past three days in anticipation for what the day was going to bring, I would.
I’ll leave you with a shot of my littles and I before their third and final Easter egg hunt this morning.
