Baby Jackson…

Here I am getting to post some of the April Sessions and so excited about them! Little Jackson was just about 2 months old here and so precious!  He was perfect for the majority of the shoot — I love when that happens.  It’s often expected that little ones will not co-operate for photo shoots when they’re this tiny and have no idea what is going on… However, as usual… I lucked out with this little one… he was perfect!

His mom and dad were very accomodating and I grilled them about newborn care, as I’ve started to do in an attempt to get prepared :) They were very helpful!

Here are some of the images of this new will man…

Little Hayden…

I met Hayden and her family a few weeks ago at their house for a session of Hayden who turned one in April.

She was zooming around all over the place, I had forgotten how busy a 1 year old can be! Hayden was just great for this session and was quite the little bundle of energy!  As you’ll see, she’s beautiful and just such a pleasure to photograph.

It was a pleasure to meet all three of you, thank you for having me!

Big Announcement….

Hello my blogging friend!

It’s been a while, I realize this and am saddened that life has become so busy and hectic lately that I have been unable to keep up the blog as I would like.  As you already know, last year we moved into a new house, which has taken a great deal of time.  Very enjoyable work, but none the less, lots of work.  Next up… we’re planning our wedding in August of this summer.  I have a new found appreciation for my brides and all they have to organize and plan!

I’m getting so excited as the summer draws closer with wedding season and the fantastic Lifestyle Sessions that we have lined up.  (The Sessions from April will be posted in the near future as I get to them…)

Finally, in addition to all the excitement of a new house; a wedding and a very busy photography season…We’re also expecting a new little addition to our family…. a Baby!  The little one is 32 weeks old and counting.  He/She will be here in June and we could not be more excited!  We decided to keep the gender a surprise and not find out.  That’s a tough thing to do when the ultrasound tech is sitting beside you in the know, however, we managed to stay strong.  I can not wait to meet this little one that spends the day dancing in there….. Similar to her/his parents… she likes to rock out!

The first of I’m sure many pictures of this little one to be posted….

Baby Adriana

Well I met little Adriana just a few weeks ago when I arrived at their family home for this shoot.  She could not have been more well behaved… I seriously luck out with my clients.  I don’t think we saw a single tear and she was such a little model!

After we did some of the indoor shots, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and head outside for some shots with the rest of the family…. They live on a horse farm and have their own horses, which of course we had to include in some of the shots.  It was just way too cute to see the horse interacting with Adriana. They were very interested in her feet, which I thought was cute, considering I always include the feet shots!

Al and Kelly Say I Do….

A few very cold Saturdays ago, I had the absolute pleasure of attending the wedding of Al and Kelly.  I met them through Mitchell’s Mom — Who is Kelly’s sister-in-law.   The first time I met Kelly and Al was when they came to Dundas for their Engagement Shoot.  We had a great time, running around the in the beautiful September weather and let me tell you — Despite the Negative Sixteen Degrees weather on their wedding day, we had even more fun!  Kelly and Al were not fased at all.  They wanted a January wedding, and they certinaly got one.  It was the most beautiful day of the year.  The sun was shining and regardless of the temperatures, everyone was so warm and kind.

As I always say, I love when I leave a wedding and feel like I have made new friends.  I most certainly feel that way with Kelly and Al.  Everyone was so welcoming and just awesome to be around.  I really  had such a great day!  Kelly and Al, you make such a wonderful couple and really compliment each other.  I wish you all the happiness in the world and I’m sure you’ll have it.

Thank you for including me in your wedding day! xo
